In the photo, I had the honour of being invited to produce my photos for the decorated space of Julio Dantés, one of Brazil's iconic designers, in the most famous annual exhibition related to decoration.
In my photography, I strive to capture and convey the beauty that exists in myriad circumstances.
Drawing from the stories of the women I’ve worked with as a therapist, I created my first collection called "The beauty of mature women in her shadows and lights," aiming to redefine beauty across all experiences and ages, illustrating its multifaceted nature, where, in a cathartic release, the emotions that have long been confined can transform into acceptance and strength, highlighting the beauty in every stage of a woman's journey.
While society, the media, and the passage of time often set strict standards for what is deemed acceptable beauty, true beauty comes from within—a testament to our resilience in facing challenges and our capacity to find joy even amidst limitations. Therefore, among the various perspectives we adopt to understand our experiences and heal ourselves, art and photography serve as vital tools for fostering this healing.
My first photographs have been awarded in over 40 exhibitions across Europe, the UK, and Brazil. I was invited to launch my book, sharing my journey and my love story called "Naked Truth", available to read online here.
